I don't think Off-Topic needs to be subcategorized since Off-Topic is not something that I would consider essential to our forums. I'm impartial to topics being automatically closed. I suppose that would depend on how long the thread can remain inactive. Although it would keep the Off-Topic section from cluttering. Maybe threads that close can be moved into a graveyard of some sort?
Like an Archive! That would be cool to still keep track of deleted threads all in one place.
It would keep clutter off the main message board page, too.
No subcategories, though. The tag is just fine.
