Bethesda isn't sure if future games at skipping Steam just yet

Oh snap!

Publishing and development giant Bethesda is not sure whether its future games will be coming to Steam or not.

This seems like significant news. So many publishers are making their own launchers now. I wouldn’t be surprised if we saw a BethNet launcher with Fallout, Skyrim, etc.

Joke’s on them; I’m still going to bind them all to Steam so I only have to deal with 1 launcher.

-Yep-

You’re a little behind.

Really am getting sick of everybody having to have their very own storefront. I don’t need to be constantly doing updates for everyone’s personal launcher and keeping track of logins and passwords and who has what payment info on every single publishers personal store.

Remember when you would just install a game from the CD and then open the exe?

#7

There is a solution.

It’s called a console.

#8

That’s more a concession than a solution if you’re an avid PC gamer; I, for one, don’t intend to let them beat me like that.

I remember having a massive pile of those 2.44 whatever they were called disks and you had to switch them out all the time.

5.25 Floppys. How I played King’s Quest & Space Quest back in the day.
