If you enjoy platformers or ‘rogue-lites’ (I hate that term so much), this is definitely worth looking at. It’s covered with the usual “die repeatedly to make incremental progress by unlocking stuff”, but the core combat gameplay is pretty nice. Although it’s pixel graphics it’s still quite pretty to look at, and the contrast of what you need to avoid is good (although the interact-able background objects like chains sometimes aren’t). It’s a little fast paced for my taste/ability, but that doesn’t stop me from wanting to do just one more run and try to unlock some more toys.
