I think the reality is that company size and reputation has no bearing on whether something has typos in it - it comes down to the fact that that email was written by an overworked developer on a deadline, and there’s probably only one project manager looking over it. I’d guess it’s the same for press releases. We assume that because the company is bug, errors are less likely. The reality is that it’s just another office with developers and project managers.
I was asked to build a new page for a website this week based on a PDF referral form that had been given out to dozens of people. They’d spelled receive “recieve”.
That Windowmaker skin made me laugh though!
