I can understand the concern about the content of the game. There is nudity, violence, death, and insert anything you can think of. But, they will always attack things in games, unless it’s “My Little Pony Sing Along”. Resident Evil 4 had a big problem because there are black zombies that you could kill. I think the problem is that they look for one thing that the game has, such as violence against women, and think the game is all about it. It’s the same thing in culture, they want to think they are being targeted when in fact they are just being treated equally in the game.
When you get right down to it we’re dealing with censorship.
"However, in the case of GTA5, we have listened to the strong feedback from customers that this is not a product they want us to sell."
The majority shouldn’t be able to out weigh the minority when it comes to media censorship.
If you don’t like it, don’t want your kids to see it, don’t buy it.
AU has massive video game censorship at the national level of government; it’s wrong, in my opinion, but actions like this don’t surprise me at all over there.
The first video game they banned was mortal combat right?
